Last night, my dad and I went to the San Diego Padres game and they played the Los Angeles Dodgers which is the Padres biggest rival. When ever the Padres play the Dodgers, the majority of the fans chant beat LA throughout the stadium. Pierce Johnson pitched great during the first inning for the Padres until the second inning. He gave up a home run to Will Smith, and was taken out of the game, after facing only 5 batters. The Padres used their bullpen for the rest of the game. Julio Urias pitched a perfect game for the Dodgers until the 5th inning. He gave up a double to Eric Hosmer and was taken out of the game. Throughout the game, the Dodgers were able to score four more runs against the Padres, since their bullpen wasn’t very consistent. During the 8th inning, Jurickson Profar hit a two run home run, but the Padres couldn’t make a come back. The Dodgers ended up beating the Padres 5-2.
