Halos make history

On Saturday night, my sister and I went to the San Diego Padres game at Angels stadium. The stadium was crowded with Padres and Angels fans cheering throughout the concourse. Ryan Weathers struggled pitching for the Padres and was taken out of the game during the third inning after he gave up two home runs to Jared Walsh and Jack Mayfield. Jose Suarez also struggled pitching for the Angels and was taken out of the game during the fourth inning after giving up two RBI singles to Erick Hosmer and Austin Nola. Throughout the game, the struggling Padres bullpen gave up 8 more runs including a RBI sacrifice fly to Justin Upton, which was his 1,000 career RBI. Congratulations to Justin on that huge accomplishment. The Angles bullpen pitched great allowing three hits including a double to Austin Nola. The Padres lost to the Angles 10-2, lowering their chances of making the playoffs. Personally, I think the Padres are falling apart, their pitching isn’t consistent and struggling offensively. If the Padres can improve on their hitting and pitching staff, they will have a spot to play in the playoffs.
