As a baseball Fan, Yesterday was another devastating day as the San Diego Padres announced Fernando Tatis JR is injured. In December, Fernando fractured his wrist in a motorcycle accident and doctors said he will be out for the first 3 months of the season since it was left untreated during the offseason. Although Fernando dealt with a shoulder injury last season, I was completely shocked and overwhelmed with my emotions when the Padres made the announcement. Throughout the past couple of years, Fernando has been one of the best players I have ever seen. On the field, Fernando is an absolute superstar and continues to make unbelievable plays every game that take my breath away. Fernando has a bright future ahead of him and without a doubt he will be elected into the hall of fame. Fernando is also a huge inspiration for the younger generation who want to become baseball players in the future. The city of San Diego loves Fernando and the Padres wouldn’t be a team without him. Personally, I hope that Fernando feels better soon so fans could enjoy watching him play. My heart goes out to Fernando and wish him the best for a speedy recovery.
Get well soon Fernando
