Padres VS Reds Game

Yesterday, my dad and I went to the San Diego Padres game as they defeated Cincinnati Reds by a landslide. Sean Manea pitched a fantastic game through the 6th inning and gave up 6 hits including a home run to a former Padre Tommy Pham. Throughout the game, Nick Lodolo, who pitches for the Reds, did a terrific job pitching through the 5th inning and gave up 6 hits including a two run home run to Manny Machado. During the game, Machado was on fire going 3-4 against the Reds. Austin Nola also had an amazing game going 2-4 against the Reds. After the 6th inning, the Padres used their bullpen that did a phenomenal job not allowing any hits. During the Fifth inning, the Reds used their bullpen that did a great job allowing a sacrifice fly to Luke Voit. In the ninth inning, Taylor Rogers came into the game to relieve the Padres bullpen and he did an incredible job not allowing any hits as the Padres were able to get their 5th save of the season.

My baseball I got during batting practice.

Before the game, I was able to watch batting practice with my dad which is one of our favorite things to do together. While I was observing the Reds batting practice, one of the security guards was nice enough to give me a baseball that landed right in front of me. I was so excited about getting the baseball that I couldn’t stop smiling the entire night. Personally, I think the Padres are starting off the season very strong and have a high chance to make the playoffs if they keep doing their best. As a baseball fan , I would love to watch the Padres during postseason so hopefully my dream of being at Petco Park seeing them win the world series comes true this year.
