Padres Home Opener

Yesterday, My dad and I went to the San Diego Padres game and it was a day to remember since the Padres dominated the Atlanta Braves during their home opener. Throughout the game, Joe Musgrove pitched a remarkable game through the 6th inning without giving up any runs. Charlie Mortan, who pitches for the Atlanta Braves, struggled and was taken out of the game during the 5th inning after giving up 9 hits including a solo home run to CJ Abrams in the second inning. During the game, Manny Machado had a phenomenal night going 5 for 6 including a three run home run in the seventh inning. Erick Hosmer also had an incredible game going 4 for 5 including a RBI single in the first inning. After the fifth inning, the Braves used their bullpen that allowed 7 hits including an RBI single to Luke Voit in the sixth inning. During the sixth inning, the Padres used their bullpen that did a terrific job allowing two hits including a solo home run to Ozzie Albies in the ninth inning. The Padres made history as they defeated the Braves 12-1 since it was the best season opener in padres history. Congratulations to the Padres for an incredible game and best of luck for the rest of the season.

Mark Sweeney and I hanging out after the game.

At the end of the game, I saw one of my favorite broadcasters Mark Sweeney and we shared our thoughts about the Padres season which was the highlight of my night . Personally, I think the Padres have a bright future ahead of them as they continue to play their hearts out. My dad and I will never forget the memories we created while watching our favorite team make history and cherish every moment we spend together. Hopefully the Padres will make it to the post season so that fans could enjoy watching games together.
