Throughout the National League, there is an epic battle between 5 teams to see who will make it into the Post Season. The top five contenders for the Wild Card are the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Saint Luis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, and New York Mets. The Reds are in the lead since they won 4 out of their last ten games. The Padres are 1/2 game out of the wild card spot and have won 4 of their last ten games. The Saint Luis Cardinals are 2 games out of the wild card spot and have won 6 of their last 10 games. Then, the Phillies are 2 and 1/2 games out of the wild card spot winning 6 out of their last 10 games. lastly, the New York Mets are 5 and 1/2 games out of the wild card spot and have won 4 of their past 10 games. Personally, the Padres will take the lead for the wild card spot because I think their pitching and hitting will improve.
