Fernando Tatis Jr Update

A couple of months ago, the San Diego Padres stated that Fernando Tatis Jr fractured his wrist in a motorcycle accident in December. As of this week, Fernando had a CT scan on his wrist to determine when he will be coming back to the padres and the results showed significant progress but the doctor said that there is still some progress that needs to be made before he can start swinging. Once the news broke out, I was completely shocked and started crying because I thought he was making progress to join the padres before the all star break but apparently that was not the case. Although, Fernando has been making outstanding progress on the field taking grounders and throwing the ball from shortstop to first base. Personally, I’m glad that Fernando is making progress on the field since the Padres need their superstar player back on the team. Hopefully Fernando can return to the Padres by August so that he could help the team secure a spot in the playoffs. My heart goes out to Fernando and praying for a speedy recovery since I sure miss seeing him playing on the field.

Sincerely,

Taylor Leonard aka Beyond the Bases.
